Panoramic photography is the art of capturing a full 360 degree view of a scene using either specialized photo gear (think tripod, nodal sliders and fisheye lens) or "one-shot" 360 cameras, to produce a spherical image format that can be used in web browsers, mobile devices or for large screen presentations.

High Quality = More Expensive

Full-frame cameras, lenses and other gear, combined with the time it takes to capture multiple exposures in different directions takes time. A setup like this may require upwards of 24 individual photos during acquisition, plus all the post-processing time to stitch the photos together. This drives up cost, but the results are stunning, as you can see from our real estate portfolio shots on our home page.

Lower (but acceptable!) Quality = More Affordable

Recently, "one-shot" 360 cameras have emerged that allow users to quickly capture a 360 spherical image in seconds! These cameras are fantastic for specific use-cases. As can be seen from the image above.

For example, we used a GoPro Max for our Google Street View project (highlighted on our home page) where we trade off image quality for rapid, bulk image acquisition. This allows us to capture hundreds of photos in a very short amount of time. We captured over 500 photos of a small section of P'tit Train du Nord. Whatever way you choose, we have the gear and expertise to solve almost any problem.

If you are looking for panoramic photos for your business, whether high quality images for large screen presentation or 'run-and-gun' Street View photos for Google - we've got you covered!
